Licensed plumbing, repairs and new installations.
Hulk Group provides licensed plumbing services across Orange and Bathurst. Burst pipe at 8am or a new rainwater tank installation planned for next month, we handle both. Honest diagnostics, transparent pricing, and tradespeople who show up when they say they will.
We do repair work and new installations. If you're building a shed, adding a laundry, connecting a water tank or extending your gas line, that's us too.
Repairs, installations and everything in between.
If it involves water, drainage or gas on your property, it's licensed plumbing work and we handle it.
Blocked Drains
Tree roots, debris, grease buildup, collapsed pipes. We clear the blockage and diagnose the cause. Not just shift it further down the line.
Hot Water Systems
No hot water is a same-day priority. We repair existing units and replace them when needed. Gas, electric and instant systems. We'll advise which type suits your household before you commit to anything.
Leak Detection & Repair
Hidden leaks behind walls, under slabs, underground. We locate them with proper detection equipment before they become structural damage.
Taps, Fixtures & Toilets
Dripping taps, worn mixers, running toilets, faulty cisterns. Repaired or replaced. New fixtures installed for renovations and upgrades.
Sewer & Drainage
Cracked, sunken or blocked sewer lines. Spot repairs through to full replacements. New drainage connections for extensions, sheds and new builds.
Rainwater & Water Tanks
Tank installation, plumbing to the house for toilet flushing, laundry or garden use, and connections to the mains backup. Properly done to council requirements.
Gas Fitting & Connections
New gas line installations, appliance connections (stoves, heaters, BBQs, hot water), gas leak repairs and pressure testing. Licensed gas fitting required by law in NSW.
Irrigation & Outdoor Plumbing
Garden irrigation systems connected to mains, bore or tank water. Outdoor taps, hose connections, stock water points for rural and residential properties.
Roof Plumbing & Stormwater
Flashings, valley repairs, downpipe connections and stormwater drainage. Keeping water moving away from your property, not into it.
Honest plumbing. No runaround.
Plumbing problems are stressful enough without vague pricing and tradespeople who don't turn up. Here's how we work.
Got a problem right now? Text us a description of what's happening and we'll come back to you directly. No forms, no hold music.
We assess honestly before recommending
We diagnose the actual problem, explain what we've found and give you your options before any work starts. No pressure, no unnecessary upsell.
You know the price before we start
We price the job before picking up a tool. What we quote is what you pay. No figures added to the invoice after the fact.
Licensed, insured and accountable
All work is done by licensed plumbers. We leave the property clean and tidy, and we stand behind what we do with compliance documentation on completion.
Water-efficient where possible
We prioritise fixtures and solutions that reduce water consumption. Better for the environment and better for your bills long-term.
"Whether it's a simple tap repair or a whole-property water system, we bring the same approach. Diagnose properly, price honestly, do it right."
We've built our reputation across Orange and Bathurst on quality workmanship and straight communication. You won't get a vague estimate or someone who doesn't respond after the job's done.
Our plumbing work connects directly with our renovation services. If you're doing a bathroom, kitchen or laundry reno, your plumbing is coordinated as part of the same build, not a separate headache.
Got a plumbing question? Text us directly and we'll get back to you.
Plumbing questions, answered straight.
The questions we hear most before people get in touch.
First, check your hot water system's circuit breaker (for electric) or pilot light (for gas). Sometimes that's all it is. Check whether your neighbours have hot water too; if they don't, it could be a supply issue rather than the unit itself.
If it's definitely the system, text us with a description and your address. A failed hot water system is a priority. We carry common parts and can usually get you back up and running the same day.
Yes. Like most licensed plumbers, we charge a callout fee to cover travel and the time to assess the job. We'll tell you the fee upfront before we come out, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
We price the full job before starting any work, and what we quote is what you pay.
For genuine emergencies like burst pipes, no hot water or sewage backups, we prioritise same-day attendance where we can. For non-urgent repairs we'll give you a realistic timeframe, not an optimistic one that slips.
Text us with a quick description of the problem and we'll give you an honest ETA from there.
For a slow shower drain, clearing visible hair and debris is a reasonable first step. Baking soda followed by vinegar can help with minor organic buildup. Avoid chemical drain cleaners. They're corrosive, damage pipes over time, and usually just shift the blockage rather than clearing it.
If plunging and simple clearing don't fix it, the problem is usually further down the pipe. Tree roots or a collapsed section need proper equipment to diagnose and clear properly.
Yes. In NSW, plumbing and drainage is specialist work and requires a licence regardless of the size of the job. A handyman or unlicensed tradie cannot legally do it, and unlicensed work can void your home insurance if something goes wrong later.
Always ask for a plumber's licence number before they start, and ask for a Certificate of Compliance on completion. We provide both as standard.
Hidden leaks behind walls, under slabs or underground are more common than people think. Signs include unexplained water damage, a sudden rise in your water bill, or the sound of running water with everything turned off.
We use leak detection equipment to locate the source without unnecessary demolition. The sooner it's found, the less damage it does. Small hidden leaks can cause significant structural problems over time.
For common jobs like a tap replacement, toilet repair or hot water system swap, we can give you a ballpark once we know the specifics. For anything involving drainage, leak detection or sewer work, we need to assess it in person first. The actual scope varies too much to quote accurately without seeing it.
We'll always give you a fixed price before starting. So even if we can't quote on text, you'll know the number before we touch anything.
